Christopher James is the winner of the British Art Prize 2025. His winning entry can be seen at the OXO Tower Gallery, London from the 26th to the 30th November. He has several paintings on display at The Rye Art Gallery, East Sussex. He has exhibited with The Society of Botanical Artists at the Mall Galleries, London. At the SBA exhibition in 2023, he was awarded the Exhibiting Excellence Award. Two of his paintings were on display at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2024. The first painting here was shown at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023, and it was shortlisted for the British Art Prize 2022. The painting of the greenfinch was shortlisted for the British Art Prize 2021, in association with Artists And Illustrators Magazine. The Royal Academy of Art printed an edition of his macaw painting, which was on display in 2019 alongside the pigeon (please email to purchase). He is based in East Sussex
